Mother Nature CO2 Refills are eco-friendly, long-life, money-saving solution to recharging the CO2 Generator.

Depending on use, the specially prepared compost and natural bacteria in the generator can last up to six months. Once the generator's contents are used up, the generator can simply be emptied, cleaned, and refilled. It’s always handy to have a CO2 Detector to give an accurate view of CO2 output levels and when a refill is due.

Like all generator contents, CO2 refills are dry-packed, allowing them to be easily stored without fear of decomposition or unpleasant odours. When it is time to use a refill, the dry mix is easily activated. Open the refill bag and empty it into the generator, then add hot (not boiling) water in one of the following amounts (according to the size of the CO2 refill):

5L (1.35 gal) CO2 Refill – add 1.25L (0.33 gal) of hot water to the CO2 Generator

10L (2.7 gal) CO2 Refill – add 2.5L (0.66 gal) of hot water to the CO2 Generator

Wait 24 hours before using the CO2 Generator. This 24-hour period is essential for the proper activation of the contents. Replace the generator lid after adding water.

Using refills can save around 33% on the cost of buying a completely new generator by allowing the hardware to be reused. In addition, the spent natural bacteria and compost in the CO2 Generator can be safely and productively disposed of as ideal garden fertilizer.
