This information can be used to easily determine whether your CO2 inputs are sufficient to sustain plants at any stage of their development.

Carbon dioxide is essential for photosynthesis at all stages of plant growth, but is especially necessary during fruiting and flowering. Although CO2 inputs, such as the Mother Nature CO2 Generator, are extremely powerful, their natural lifespan is about 6 months. It is important to be aware of the deterioration of CO2 reserves and to check or replenish them if necessary. Thanks to simple and intuitive controls, the CO2 Detector allows to do just that.

The CO2 Detector also helps improve cost efficiency and prolong the lifetime of CO2 inputs. C02 levels above 1100ppm have no extra effect on plant growth and are simply a waste. CO2 sensor readings can be used to adjust the input to the 1100 ppm “sweet spot” that experienced growers follow.

Because prolonged exposure to high CO2 levels can be harmful to human health, the CO2 Detector includes colour-coded alarm signals that warn of dangerous concentrations. Additional functionality is provided by temperature and humidity monitoring. The unit has an effective range of 400-5000ppm, is light and easy to position and is rechargeable with USB cable (included).

For best results, the CO2 Detector is best placed above the CO2 injection point and below the ventilation inlet and outlet vents at approximately plant-level.
