AutoPot ™ Root Control Potsocks for FlexiPots

PotSocks are great for growers cultivating long term crops or simply plants with a very aggressive root system. PotSocks ensure that the AQUAvalve in a module tray works without interference, providing plants with exactly the level of water and nutrient solution they need. PotSocks will help prevent roots from growing into the tray and affecting the AQUAvalve, but it is important to always check your AQUAvalves on a regular basis, as aggressively rooting plants can still grow through on rare occasions. In the case of an aggressively rooting plants, it is advisable to consider doubling the PotSocks to provide an extra layer of protection. A few grow cycles can be gain from the root control material. If the copper coating oxidizes, they can still be reused, as copper is also woven throughout the material.

Pro Tip: To increase the permeability of PotSocks, they can be soaked for 48 hours in a solution containing a standard wetting agent diluted at the recommended rate, then placed around your pot. Do not rinse it off before use, after soaking in a wetting agent.

The PotSock for 35L FlexiPot fits the fabric pots used in XXL and Auto5 modules and systems. Alternatively they can be used with 35L FlexiPots in open garden trays.

The PotSock for 50L FlexiPot fits the fabric pots used in XXL and Auto5 modules and systems. Alternatively they can be used with 50L FlexiPots in open garden trays.
