Misting nozzles for ultra-fine water misting in a set including high-pressure hose line up to 80 bar, nozzle holder and connectors.
This fog nozzle set can be customised, simply select the desired number of nozzles and the nozzle opening size. The 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) high-pressure hose line included in the set is made of very robust, UV and weather-resistant polymide and can be laid flexibly and is fastened with appropriate hose holders. The fog nozzles themselves are simply installed at the desired point in the hose system using a convenient plug-in system; no additional tools are required. A high-pressure pump with the appropriate output is required to operate this fog nozzle system, which can be found in the pump diagram. If required, the fog nozzles can be completely dismantled for cleaning and are very easy to clean.

Mist nozzles in a set: humidify and cool greenhouses, conservatories and biotopes
With our individually configurable fog nozzle set, you can professionally humidify your orchid greenhouse, conservatory and tropical biotopes for reptiles. With the appropriate pump pressure, which should be in the range of 50 bar to 80 bar, excellent misting is produced. The micro-fine water aerosols float in the room and create 100% humidity in a very short time, just like in a cloud forest. Depending on the fog nozzle and its flow data, optimum humidification and thus air conditioning of the biotope takes place.  The enormous flexibility of the plastic hose combined with its high strength allows the nozzle system to be laid in a highly customised manner. We generally recommend only using perfectly filtered and limescale-free water to operate this mist nozzle system.

For adiabatic cooling with our fog nozzles, we recommend a high-pressure pump with an operating pressure of between 50 bar and 80 bar, depending on the number of nozzles and the flow rate.

Adiabatic cooling - evaporative cooling with mist nozzles
This high-pressure nozzle system can be used not only in the greenhouse biotope, but also for air cooling by evaporation (adiabatic cooling). In order to achieve the highest possible efficiency, the finest possible atomisation of the water is crucial. The higher the pressure at the misting nozzle, the finer the water aerosols and therefore the larger the surface area of the water that can cool the air. The high-pressure polymide hose contained in the nozzle system is extremely resistant to heat, UV radiation and abrasion and is therefore also suitable for outdoor use. For adiabatic cooling with our fog nozzles, we recommend a high-pressure pump with an operating pressure of between 50 bar and 80 bar, depending on the number of nozzles and the flow rate.

Which misting nozzle for humidifying or cooling
In general, warmer air can absorb more liquid than cool air, as the latter reaches the dew point (condensation) more quickly. The following therefore applies: in air-conditioned environments such as biotopes or greenhouses, fog nozzles with an orifice size of 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm can be used. Fog nozzles with smaller nozzle openings have a steeper spray cone and greater throw than nozzles with larger openings. Accordingly, larger nozzle openings also have a higher flow rate.

If fog nozzles are used for air conditioning, such as humidification or cooling via ventilation systems, the flow rate and therefore nozzle size and number must be calculated using the variables of temperature, volume and air flow. Larger nozzle openings are usually used for humidification, whereas nozzle openings between 0.15 mm and 0.3 mm are used for cooling. Here too, the necessary flow rates should be calculated by the user for the individual system.
